A key takeaway from the panel discussion, moderated by 𝐀𝐫. 𝐑𝐢𝐞𝐧 𝐓𝐚𝐧, 𝐃𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐫 𝐨𝐟 𝐓𝐊𝐂𝐀 𝐀𝐫𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐭𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐬, was clear: safer material selection plays an important role in protecting both building occupants and the surrounding environment.
Material choices should no longer be evaluated based only on performance and cost. Health, indoor air quality, sustainability and long-term safety must also be part of every specification decision. Health is a necessity, not a luxury.
The speakers and panelists highlighted the need to go beyond green by considering health, IAQ, safety and sustainability together. 𝐒𝐚𝐟𝐞𝐫 𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐚𝐥𝐬 𝐜𝐚𝐧 𝐡𝐞𝐥𝐩 𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐞𝐫 𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐨𝐨𝐫 𝐬𝐩𝐚𝐜𝐞𝐬, reduce environmental impact, improve project confidence, strengthen quality and support long-term project value.
A key highlight of the event was the introduction of 𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐭𝐡 𝐆𝐮𝐚𝐫𝐝, 𝐌𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐲𝐬𝐢𝐚’𝐬 𝐟𝐢𝐫𝐬𝐭 𝐒𝐈𝐑𝐈𝐌-𝐜𝐞𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐟𝐢𝐞𝐝 𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐭𝐡-𝐝𝐫𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐧 𝐚𝐝𝐡𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐬𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐬, developed to support healthier indoor environments through low-VOC, safer material solutions.

Thank you to all speakers, partners and attendees for making this seminar a meaningful platform for advancing healthier, safer and more responsible building practices.
